COVID-19: persons affected tell their stories (Slavica)

Titelbild Betroffene-erzaehlen-Slavica
Vaccination protects against serious illness and the long-term effects of COVID-19. Even though the majority of people who become infected experience only mild symptoms or none at all, a proportion of those who become ill develop a severe case or experience long-term consequences. Before contracting COVID-19, Slavica was in very good health. Then everything changed: she was unresponsive for twelve weeks and very narrowly survived the disease. The daily letters from her husband gave her the strength to get through it.
