Why is information about cancer collected?
On January 1st, 2020, the Federal Law - Cancer Registration Act (CRA) with its ordinance (CRO) – came into force. In order to have full and complete data at national level, doctors, hospitals and other private or public health institutions are obliged to report diagnosed cancers to the relevant cancer registry.
